When Lucy was just little, her mum knew she could find her in the woods, hanging out in a hollow she had placed some boards over! Before she was 12 she had built her first structure with a floor, four walls, a door, a roof and even a window. Coming from a long line of builders and architects, no one was too surprised.
In 1985, at age 20, Lucy began her career as a full time carpenter. Working alongside a variety of talented trades people, she honed her skills in all aspects of the building and cabinetwork trades. In 1991, she began working under her own banner, and has been busy ever since.
Her work has included restorations, kitchens, bathrooms, commercial sites, custom furniture, and so many more unique projects. Lucy Chapman’s ability to listen to a client, ask the right questions, and to contribute her experience and creativity, make her a sought after professional with many regular customers.
